View all metadata and information of a file
The detail view offers all relevant and related information about a file at a glance. This includes the preview of the file with a preview image and, if necessary, other functions (media player for videos and audio files, browse and search function in PDFs and documents, zoom levels and much more). The right column belongs to the metadata, which shows the most different information of a file grouped.
If a file is opened in Manja, not only the content of the file but also all supplied and imported information (metadata) appears, but also the information entered in Manja.

Images can work differently in front of different backgrounds. You can adjust the background brightness in order to get a quick impression of the image with the respective background. Use the slider to the left below the image in order to do so.
In order to examine an alpha channel in the image, activate the checkerboard pattern as a background. You can again adjust its brightness with the slider.
The toolbar lets you find all the actions available. However, it lets you select beforehand whether the action should be applied to the individual file or to all open files. In order to do so, move the mouse pointer over the respective button, until a menu opens up above the button. Here you click on the desired option.
To the right you will find all the file’s metadata in a clear layout. You can show or hide the data by groups. Use the button on the right side of the group name for this.
Group “General”
The “General” group contains all data defined by the operator, such as title, description, usage rights, keywords, author, copyright notice, links, series, publisher, person(s) in the image, etc.
Group “Categories”
The “Categories” group contains the categories that the file was placed in.
Group “Image”, “Text”, “Video” and “Audio”
The groups “Image”, “Text”, “Video” and “Audio” contain all technically relevant information.
For “Image” for example: width, height, color mode, aspect ratio, transparency and much more.
For “Text” for example: number of text pages
For “Video” for example: length of video, video codec, FPS, profile etc.
For “Audio” for example: length of audio piece, number of channels, sample rate, audio codec and more.
Groups “IPTC, EXIF, TIFF”
The groups “IPTC, EXIF, TIFF” contain the information of the fields defined in the respective metadata standard – as far as these are available in the source file.
For “IPTC” for example: Object Name, Keywords, Publisher, Source, Authors, Capture Date, Capture Time and many more.
For “EXIF” for example: Camera Model Name, Orientation, Software, Modify Date, ISO, Copyright and many more.
For “TIFF” for example: Subfiletype, Image orientation, Software, Sample format and more.
Group “System”
For example, the “System” group contains the data about media type, file name, upload file name, file size, start date, expiration date, uploaded by, MIME type, etc.
Clicking on the text or the category will create a search for files with the same contents.
Clicking on the bar between the preview and the metadata hides the metadata and provides a larger preview.
If you want to go back to the regular detail view, click on the right edge.
