Determine useful life of assets with the help of expiration periods

Especially when it comes to purchased, licensed assets, there is a duration of use . With the help of expiration periods, you can set the start and end of the use of assets directly at the asset.

There are two possible scenarios for the temporal use of assets, which can also occur in combination. On the one hand, an asset can only be used from a certain point in the future. On the other hand, the useful life can be limited and end on a certain date.

For this purpose, Manja DAM offers the Add-on Expiry, which not only stores the temporal usage at an asset. It also informs the user by email when an asset is about to expire. It is also possible to configure what should happen to expired assets. It may make sense to move them to a specific category or to deactivate the download function for these assets.
